From Northwest Georgia, The Shadrix Trio is a young, exciting, annointed ministry
that has been traveling throughout the United States as many as 250 dates per
year. They have appeared in such areas as Russia, Mexico, El Salvador and
the Bahama Islands. Still fairly new to the Southern Gospel Arena, The Shadrix
Trio has performed and ministered for more than six years, sharing the stage with
many of today's top names in Southern Gospel Music. The Shadrix Trio appear
regularly in venues such as concerts, revivals, tv, fairs, Christian Cruises,
and many Southern Gospel Expos. The Shadrix Trio can be heard nationally as well
as internationally on radio |
The group consists of Barry Shadrix who formed the group with his older brother in
1999. Barry makes his home in Carrollton, GA with his wife Jill. Barry was saved
at the age of seven and has been singing gospel music since the age of twelve.
Barry has worked with several youth ministires and enjoys sharing the gospel
with them. His sweet spirit and humble voice will leave you captivated. |
Dedra Henry has provided the soprano for The Shadrix Trio since the year 2000. She
makes her home in Franklin, GA with her husband Jesse Henry and their three beautiful
children Andrew, Anna and Abby. She comes from a rich heritage in gospel music. Her mother was an original member of "Wendy Bagwell and the Sunlighters." She was saved at the age of nineteen and has been singing since. Working weekly in the studio as a producer and background vocalist, she has one of the best voices in Southern Gospel Music today. |
Angela McCaslin is the newest member of the group, but is no stranger to Southern
Gospel music. She was saved as a child in a Pentecostal church and eventually
became part of her family's Southern Gospel singing group, The McCaslins.
Her father, Ron McCaslin, is currently singing with the Sonshiners Quartet.
Angela has worked with many ministries in her home church in Indiana
including praise team, youth leadership, and bus ministry. She is excited
to be a part of the group and has taken a step of faith in moving from her home
in Indiana to Georgia. |
